Here are the five posts on this blog that recorded the most hits between January and March 2016:
- Five (more) steps to fixing the housing crisis (5th Jan)
- Why is Owen Jones so annoying? (4th July 2013)
- Boris Wars (26th March)
- On the way out or in hibernation? The plight of evidence-based policy (18th March)
- On economic pluralism (15th Feb)
This quarter hasn’t worked out quite as anticipated, blogging-wise. There have been very few new posts. What with one thing and another blogging has taken a bit of a backseat. It was only in the second half of March that I managed to get back to something like my usual level of activity.
My hardy perennial Owen Jones post was back among the top two this quarter. If we discount the OJ post then the fifth most popular post published this quarter was Capitalism has a go at eating itself (again)? (30th March).
Thanks for reading. And commenting. Even when you’re disagreeing with me.

As a tester comment – do you expect to blog more often in Q2?
(I’m in the middle of a flat move, so my own writing ambitions are certainly on hold…)
Ha, hello again Metatone.
I wasn’t expecting to blog less last quarter! Too many work commitments meant that I ended up with limited amounts of time. And when I had the time I didn’t have the headspace to come up with blogposts. I’m expecting not to be quite so busy for the next little while. So I am expecting to blog a bit more – assuming there are things I want to say!
